During the mechanical washing method with injection flooding, pressure changes (push-pull) are generated in the media-filled treatment chamber. Special jets with high flow and high media pressures can have a direct mechanical washing effect on the component. The relative movement of the component (turning or swivelling) induces strong pulling effects in addition to pushing. These alternating pressures allow even complex or densely packed components (e.g. hydraulic or valve blocks) to be cleaned reliably against defined cleanliness criteria. This method can be used with a very restricted effect in all flood cleaning systems, but only reveals its full capability in closed single- and multi-chamber systems in the LPW PowerJet range.
